Weigh Feeders

A Weigh Feeder System is a conveying and a weighing system, all integrated into a single unit.

A Weigh Belt feeder primarily consists of a Belt conveyor that moves the material from inlet to discharge. As material enters the feeder it passes through an inlet shear gate, during this transport the material is weighed and belt speed is continuously adjusted to result in a constant gravimetric discharge rate. Since, the amount of material transported is not always the same; the belt speed is to be varied to achieve the constant set feed rate.
